Security cameras

Security cameras come in many different styles to suit the many different needs which people may have. Different styles of cameras include bullet, c-mount, infrared, and dome. The most ideal camera for a particular environment will depend on such factors as what time of day should be its optimum efficiency level, whether or not the camera needs to withstand tough weather and at what distance it needs to be focused.

The most popular security cameras are the bullet varieties. These tend to be very durably encased, so they should not require any additional protection. They also will generally come with all the mounting equipment necessary. Dome security cameras are another popular option. However, these styles are mainly used indoors.

C-mount security cameras are designed to have their lens changed to varying sizes. It is possible to purchase a varifocal lens for this sort of camera, which allows for different focuses to be achieved as necessary. When using a c-mount camera outside, it is often necessary to purchase some sort of outdoor housing to protect it.
